Lace

I want to play with lace. Could be because the dishes are dirty and I know there is plenty of laundry to be completed. I really want to start a new lace project. I want a new lace shawl to wear to work. I don't think it is too much to ask. I don't want a hard pattern to follow. I want to play with lace weight yarn and large needles. It will be fun. Yes, fun. No one can really stop me. I have plenty of yarn and it all needs to be knit into something. Why not make it something that I can wear at work? OK it's settled. Socks are on the back burner and shawls are in the forefront. Let the fun begin. What pattern? I really want to play with the Fountain Pen shawl. But I may go for something easier and a little more mindless from Victorian Lace Today. That could be done with sock yarn. There is plenty of sock yarn.

Yup, at 9600 steps today I deserve a new knitting break!
